RIGS OUT FOR GAZA stormed back this January—and it absolutely delivered. Thirteen crews came together to shake the walls of Bristol’s legendary Loco Klub, as the South West joined forces with the Northern sound system family for a charity shindig supporting those affected by the ongoing crisis in Palestine. Organised by the brilliant folks at Riggy Stardust, the night perfectly combined massive music, community, and purpose.
Room one was pure rave euphoria: two colossal linkup stacks delivering broken beats, ruffneck jungle, deep acid lines, and all the free party classics you could hope for. Over in room two, three sound systems clashed in a mind-blowing mix of dub, reggae, world music, and unexpected sonic surprises that kept the energy soaring.
What made the night truly special was the sense of community and collective purpose. Over £3.6k was raised for The Sameer Project, a Palestinian-led initiative providing aid to displaced families in Gaza—proving just how powerful music and people can be when united for a cause.
RIGS OUT FOR GAZA 2 was more than just a party—it was a celebration of unity, culture, and compassion. From the epic sounds to the incredible turnout and generosity of everyone involved, it was a night to remember. Bring on round three!
